Cristiano Ronaldo was once again the difference maker as Real Madrid overcame La Liga strugglers Celta Vigo by two goals to one, the Portuguese netting both for Real.
Ronaldo was in devastating form and was clearly energised by Real Madrid's progression over Manchester United in the Champions League.
Ronaldo got his first in the 61st minute after the ball was fired into the box following a corner. Ronaldo was first to react as the ball fell into his path and he swiveled to strike low into the net.
Celta Vigo struck back two minutes later through promising forward Aspas after his effort deflected beyond Lopez.
Ronaldo was decisive once again to hand Real Madrid all three points when Kaka' was felled for a penalty in the 71st minute. Cristiano stepped up and dispatched into the middle with complete assurance.
