Cristiano Ronaldo scored another terrific Champions League goal as Real Madrid comfortably swept Turkish team Galatasaray aside by three goals to nil in the Champions League.
Ronaldo was on target in the 9th minute and it was his 9th Champions League goal of the campaign so far, making him top scorer ahead of Lionel Messi (8).
Ronaldo raced through and lobbed the goalkeeper with unfaltering skill and flair.
Benzema made it two in the 29th minute after a good cross from Essien. The Frenchman's first touch was excellent and his finish pinpoint off of the post.
Higuain made certain with a thumping header in the 73rd minute from Xabi Alonso's free-kick meaning that Real Madrid have a comfortable lead going into the second leg.
